Elderstreet Kleinwort Capital Trust

In 1991, Kleinwort Capital (formerly Kleinwort Benson Development Capital) and Elderstreet launched an initiative to provide funds for the smaller unquoted company sector, where funds of up to £2 million in equity capital are required. This successful collaboration combined the strength and resources of Kleinwort Capital with Elderstreet's specialist expertise in the smaller company and technology sectors. The funds are provided by the Kleinwort Capital Trust (formerly the Kleinwort Development Fund plc), a quoted investment trust in the venture and development capital sector.

Investments have been made in a wide variety of businesses in support of management buy-outs and buy-ins as well as development capital situations.
